Pladrest were very happy to be awarded a contract for the supply and installation of eight double chamber curing ovens for BAE Systems.
Each of the sixteen steam heated convection oven chambers are specified to a temperature tolerance of ± 2șC and will run, unmanned, continuously. The ovens will be controlled via a plc system with a bespoke SCADA system for data logging and remote monitoring.
Other features include energy efficiency through inverter drives on the air re-circulation fan motors, bi-fold access doors with one way escape door built in and product / oven temperature monitoring facility.
