Rieter is a Swiss-based industrial group with activities in all regions of the world. It is a leading supplier of products and services for the textile, automotive and plastics industries.

Rieter Automotive Systems develops and produces components, modules and integrated systems on the basis of fibres, plastics and metals.

For the past 25 years Pladrest have supplied carpet processing ovens to their Heckmondwike and Genk factories.  When they opened their new factory in Stoke-on-Trent all the plant was moved from Heckmondwike and Pladrest were asked to  upgraded several of the oven with computer control systems.

The most recent oven was installed in May 2007, into a high volume line dedicated to Toyota parts.

Note:- some ovens have worked successfully on 3 shifts/day for nearly 20 years.
