Morganite Crucible

Pladrest have a long association with Morganite Crucible, supplying gas fired convection ovens for heat treatment of ceramic crucibles. Both tunnel and batch type ovens have been installed at their factory in Norton near Worcester.

The gas fired convection ovens are of robust design to withstand harsh working environments. Features include multi heat zones, programmable temperature control, auto-start up and high volume air re-circulation.

The most recent equipment supplied was a batch oven facility incorporating three independently controlled oven chambers, each with a vertical lift door. To reduce lead times the equipment was supplied in ‘flat pack’ form and erected directly on site.
